Many thanks to Roger West for this piece of information that went amiss during the summer
Stuart Switzer captained the Irish Masters Over 65 team in June at the European Championships in Antwerp (Dragons) - they had a successful tournament finishing higher than the Irish 70s or 60s at the same venue in their respective tournaments. Also, Harrold de Jong and Roger West represented TRR on the Irish O60s Masters with a respectable record: two wins, two draws and two losses. In our six matches we only conceded 5 goals including a well fought 2-0 loss to the world champions (the Dutch).
The next target for all three TRR former players with other squad members, including Robert Haughton, William Haughton and Cedric Christie, at this level is the World Cup in Japan late next year.
