TRR M3's reverse loss earlier in season winning away to Weston 1st XI 3-9, yes thats correct 9-3...

In Phil S's words, we played c**p, but still won...
Weston had beaten us at home, on the front pitch - see previous match report - so this was a crucial three points for us (not helped by rumours that if we finish in the top 4 as a 3rd XI side we would be Div 2 next year... sounded good though...).
Weston in previous years had proved to be a difficult side to beat (yes Ritchie back before our record breaking division promotional run!), now we were to play their first XI away on a dry sticky pitch.
Despite some late hilarity provided, we controlled this match even though as Phil commentated we played c**p... my thanks to Findo who worked out the following (using his real job skills):
Approximation of the order of goals vs Weston
1-0 - Ben Epstein, corner second phase
2-0 - Ryan Shirley, tidy finish at the right post
2-1 - Innocuous strike deflected by a TRR forward
3-1 - Ryan Shirley, rebound after Findo went on a little run
4-1 - Findo, top circle backhand shot
5-1 - Macken after Ryan somehow missed a chance
6-2 - Ryan simple finish
7-2 - Phil Shearer
8-2 - Findo, good team move up the pitch
9-2 - Ryan
9-3 - PFlick
Was it an enjoyable match, not really, happy with the points, you betcha, TRR stay third in the league and are the highest placed 3rd XI side in the league, well done all...
MOM - We need to get many more Jugs nominated, therefore a joint MOM, firstly Ryan 4 goals, impressive (and that is 2 x Jug avoidance, 1 x Jug for a hatrick, and 1 x Jug for MOM!!), second MOM goes to Hinds, god luv him he went to get the balls from the side of the pitch and with his stick carefully checked a rubbish pile for any missing balls, which were retrieved, and yes its another Jug.
DOD - Plenty of contenders here, but will settle on the three late starters of Roly, Ritchie and yes Mac, and yes thats a jug each... phew thats not bad 9 jugs nominated in one match, one per goal!!
