EHL KO16

1 month ago By Jack McCann

The men's firsts have a mouth watering challenge ahead of them next Easter!

After a superb weekend in Barcelona at the start of the month where the men's firsts dispatched of Racing Club de France and earned a hard fought point against Junior FC, their Spanish hosts, to reach the KO16 the men's firsts have to navigate the challenge of KHC Dragons to go any further in Eindhoven next April.

It is a familiar foe as they faced the same opposition last time round in Rotterdam in their classification match which ended 20-10 in favour of the Belgians. This time around they will be facing the Dragons with, hopefully, a fully fit squad compared to Rotterdam where the team got struck by illness. If they beat their well renowned opposition they'd face a KO8 tie against either Surbiton or Waterloo Ducks.

There is exciting times ahead for the gents and the Club as we look forward to Rovers Roar being heard in Europe again this season! Keep an eye out for any and all fundraising initiatives over the coming months and if you feel like you can contribute to #RoversRoadtoEindhoven in any way it would gladly be accepted!
