World player of the year Jamie Dwyer was on hand to show off some of the skills that made him a World and Olympic champion and impart some of his knowledge to some of Ireland's future stars at Grange Road last weekend.

Three Rock Rovers HC in conjunction with Ed Sports welcome Jamie Dwyer, the number 1 player in the world to our club on Saturday 15th May.

Jamie Dwyer will host two fantastic hockey clinics and Junior Members have the chance to register first for this magnificent opportunity to train with Jamie before anyone else.

Well done from all at the club to the seven Three Rock Rovers players who helped Wesley College claim the All-Ireland Schoolboy Championships with their 3-2 win over Wallace High School. The lads performed brilliantly throughout the tournament and were a credit to themselves and their coaches.

Congrats Tom, David, Conor, Kyle, Shane, Neal and Alan on the achievement.

A bumper weekend saw 20 Three Rock teams take the field last weekend with some great results, especially with 11 schoolgirls teams lining out.

This weekend sees much of the club scattered the length and breadth
of the capital as the girl’s underage interprovincial competitions are
played in Grange Road. Lauren Haughton is our representative in the girls competition with seven representing the club on the boys side. For full details follow the link

Gareth Borland and Rory O’Donoghue have announced their respective Leinster Boys U-16 and U-18 panels for the upcoming interprovincial series which will be played in UCD on October 2-4. Three Rock Rovers have been well represented, congratulations to all involved. More details after the link.

Over last weekend eight players represented Ireland at various levels; four on the Under 16 side, two at Under 18 level and a further two at senior mens level. Reports and photographs follow...
